KMH Integration was engaged by Viacom to provide integration services to design and integrate their new ingest and media management system utilizing Evertz Mediator at the NOC facility in Hauppauge, NY. KMH worked with Evertz engineering and Viacom engineering to define the workflows and interoperability of Viacom’s existing systems with the new Mediator platform, as well as provide additional quality control and media preparation positions by modifying existing prep positions to accommodate new workflows.

Additionally, the Venice encoding platform was provided by Rhode & Schwarz and integrated by KMH into the Mediator system. The project required close coordination between KMH and Viacom and the manufacturers so that the existing ingest and prep platform was not interrupted, allowing Viacom to meet day-to-day business needs uninterrupted.
