KMH Integration Expands Collaboration with JPMorgan Chase
KMH Integration is expanding its long-term consulting and system integration partnership with JPMorgan Chase, working with the global financial services organization to redesign and enhance all aspects of its audio/video technology infrastructure.
The Brooklyn, NY-based system integrator is designing and building presentation areas, lobbies, multi-purpose rooms, meeting rooms, public event spaces, studios, and control rooms at multiple JPMorgan Chase locations, including the company’s new global headquarters currently under construction at 270 Park Avenue in New York City.
The multi-year, multi-site project includes A/V system consulting and design,
ongoing workflow evaluation, product testing and managed services support. In each of these new facilities and spaces, KMH is testing and installing a range of broadcast production equipment, remote production and online collaboration tools, immersive and storytelling platforms feeding LED video walls.
KMH Integration also recently broadened its project scope by working with JPMorgan Chase engineering teams to develop and build a “lab” environment at the 390 Madison Avenue location to test and verify new workflows and equipment features. KMH will provide on-site support, consulting, and staffing services to ensure all products perform to their published specifications and reliably deliver the desired functionality when integrated with other equipment.
The level of JPMorgan Chase’s engagement with KMH highlights the growing shift in traditional system integration to more of a comprehensive managed services business model, making services like support and staffing as equally important as installation fabrication.
“Many corporate organizations are now building on-site, broadcast-level studios to diversify their internal communications and enhance the employee and customer experiences,” said Kevin Henneman, president of KMH Integration. “They need reliable partners who understand every nuance of TV production, video distribution and content creation. Customers in many markets are relying on our core broadcast production expertise and bringing us in during the earliest phases of a project to collaborate and consult on the right workflows and technology infrastructure that support their current and future needs. We’re continually tailoring our services to meet the specific and increasingly complex needs of organizations like JPMorgan Chase.”
The first phase of KMH’s relationship with JPMorgan Chase included designing and building a public event space at 383 Madison Avenue, completed in 2022. That project scope included an auditorium refresh, the replacement of aging technologies, and an upgrade to a higher resolution HD progressive frame rate format, as well as LED video walls, virtual and augmented reality capabilities, and enhanced graphics.
KMH worked with JPMorgan Chase management and technical teams to consult on the best options, followed by a series of recommendations on new technologies to enhance the room’s multimedia capabilities and visitor experiences.
At the new 390 Madison Avenue lab location, KMH support of JPMorgan Chase engineering services will include:
• Overall program management and system engineering.
• Produce an RFQ allowing manufacturers to quote products accurately.
• Create and publish an agreed-upon format for testing and evaluation that JPMC can use for planning and decision-making.
• Provide integration services as needed for installation and wiring of equipment.
• Coordinate with vendors for configuration assistance, troubleshooting and firmware/software updates.
• Share lab results with other JP Morgan Chase groups to ensure organization-wide technology consistency and interoperability.
