KMH Integration Keeps Pittsburgh Steelers Looking Forward

Multi-year project focuses on consulting, workflow recommendations, and technology updates

KMH Integration is continuing its long-term consulting, design, and technology partnership with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The system integrator is currently providing new technology and workflow recommendations that will keep the Steelers’ broadcast and production operations at its South Side facility current for the next several years.

KMH has worked with the Steelers for nearly a decade, redesigning the team’s production, studio, and control room spaces; and configuring a new file-based media asset management system. This newest consultancy phase is designed to keep those technology installations flexible and adaptable to future growth and new production requirements. The KMH team is performing a full analysis and survey of the team’s existing equipment and technology systems as well current and projected workflows.

The South Side facility houses the Steelers headquarters, marketing and promotions, front office management and an indoor training center shared by the Steelers and University of Pittsburgh football team.

KMH managed the team’s MAM roll-out to help the Steelers unify media assets, automate its production processes, and streamline file transfers. That deployment enhanced the work previously done by KMH to assess, evaluate and re-configure the Steelers’ existing production spaces at the South Side facility.

“The Steelers production management had a definite vision for this facility as a long-term foundation for their creative and production capabilities,” said Kevin Henneman, president of KMH Integration. “We’ve been working to support their rapidly growing digital content platform, improve acoustic qualities and build a network infrastructure to handle future media growth for linear and nonlinear platforms.” For more information, contact KMH at (929) 295-6347 or visit https://kmh-integration.com/.
